This book is coming out on October 7th and looks like one helluva read! It’s called The Green Collar Economy and it’s a very timely book! I’m thinking that Harper Collins pushed this through to get to the bookstores FAST because I’ve not heard of this book yet! And that’s odd, since I work for one of the leading business book dealers in the nation! Al Gore supports the Van Jones book:
“This book illustrates the link between the struggle to restore the environment and the need to revive the US economy. Van Jones demonstrates conclusively that the best solutions for the survivability of our planet are also the best solutions for everyday Americans.”
Here’s a little bit about the author:
Van Jones is the founder and president of Green For All, a national advocacy organization based in Oakland, California. Green For All is committed to building an inclusive, green economy – strong enough to lift millions of people out of poverty. Van is a tireless advocate, championing “green-collar jobs and opportunities” for disadvantaged people. He is committed to creating “green pathways out of poverty,” while greatly expanding the coalition fighting global warming.
Oh, and one more thing! He’s totally hot!!!

Thanks for being a part of the amazing grassroots effort to make it the first bestseller by an African American on “green” issues. Read about the it here:
