For those of you who really, really know me, you know that I am technically stuck in the 1950s at times.  I just recently got cable, though, but it has not stopped there.  I just got as an early X-mas gift from my mom,  my first cell phone (pay-as-you-go) from Virgin.

Not only am I a virgin on a cell phone, but I have a Virgin phone (get the pun??).

I have always made fun of – or not understood – the concept of a cell phone and honestly, I don’t know how often I’ll be using it, but I needed one for a trip coming up to get a hold of friends there, a limo service and etc., etc. So, I am beginning to understand the need of one at certain times.  Still, I feel odd about having one.

I did just put in my first saved friend/contact and talked to my mom over it to make sure it worked and stuff – so, I guess I”m ready for the 21st century to kick in full throttle.
